'We had roof and water damage. We also had damage to some of the guest rooms. The restaurants and casino floor were left relatively untouched.'
Despite being closed to the public during both cyclones, the hotel and restaurants remained open. But not to paying customers.
'We've had more than 500 first responders and electrical workers staying with us since Laura,' said Hennagin. 'They are helping to restore power and services to the area.'
The hotel has also provided temporary housing and meals for staff members.

'I don't have a specific percentage that we are down, but it is substantial,' said Hennagin, who is looking forward to getting back to business as usual on Tuesday afternoon.
